I agree with all that and I was trying to make that point. I am unsure they will keep Arshavin and like you have said he could sit on his contract, but that will not impress Capello.

It was simply adding reason. I would have loved Cazorla to be fair, but with all things considered, BUDGET, I see why we are going for Sinclair. English, cheap, young, talented, prem suited, style of play adapted and also happy to learn his trade by judging his past. He will learn lots here and will really help us when it comes to much needed width. I would have cried if we signed Walcott, at 100k a week (if you wanna sign him) he is daylight robbery and also it's another Arsenal player. If we sign any Arsenal players I only want Song or RVP, Song more than RVP as it goes.

Me too fella. Perhaps we waited for teh market to move and we also are trying to sell unwanted players. Not long till window shuts yet and I reckon we will sign 3 more players. Just need shot of Kolo/Savic, RSC, Adebayor and either re-sign Dejong or sell him. Forward wise I am happy but I am certain Tevez or Dzeko will be leaving, Team Tevez been very quite, I am sure something will come up to the fore.

It's incredible how underrated is Cazorla among english fans. He was the main STAR and the "franchise player" at Villareal and Malaga(champions league teams). 47 caps for Spain.

Now think about the best player in teams like Arsenal or Liverpool. That was his role in their last teams.
People in England will discover a player that they didn't know and then they will say "oh, he has improved a lot this year".

He's in an good Arsenal team going through a bit of a purple patch.
That's no basis on which to judge a player.

He needs at least a season and probably two.

Does he look good? yes of course, but so many players look good 5-6 games a season.

im sorry but i question our transfer policy at times .
for the price of sinclair and another 5 million we could have had this guy .
we will probably be linked with a 35 million swoop for him in the summer.

we could have played nasri silva and cazorla behind aguero or tevez.

Cazorla can play out on the wing just as well as he can as a playmaker. Would have been a top signing for us.
