Fragile as fuck pal,the demons were still lurking and i suspect his bucket is still tipping over.
Its only a TV show....but its not an experience such a mind should be subject too.
It just seems they have abandoned their primary goal of recruiting civilians capable of putting themselves forward for selection,in favour of ticking boxes and adding unnecessary diversity.
Thought I saw the firefighter in the clips at the end of the show in future episodes so I'm not sure hes gone yet

I'm not surprised Middleton has gone. He didn't want women in the SAS and openly criticised the decision to allow it. Then had to change the show to include women as a result. Personally I think that's fine. The undercover Swedish special forces woman was tough as hell.
But now it seems to be a counselling/wellness experiment. Test your limits then quit and go home.
In earlier seasons the people on it were genuinely testing themselves. They were in good shape and it was the mental battle to see who had the plums to make it. Now it's just weak people who have a back story we could all cry about and nearly all of them then breakdown early doors having been in the completely wrong mind-set to succeed on the show.

There is absolutely no way some of them could get to 10.1 on the bleep test. Not even close. This show and many others have turned to shit because someone thinks it’s a good idea to have a program full of odd bods in it.

Fitness tests
Bit sad some have chose to focus on the person that is "different" rather than the stripper who performed worse and thought they would have hot showers.
It’s a reality TV show, obviously they are going to pick people with backstories, a bit different and even the clueless who think they would have hot showers. If they got the boring grey man type it wouldn't have six series and would be like all the other military exercise shows that are now cancelled.

When the fire fighter described himself as an alpha male I had doubts about him. I’ve never heard anyone I consider to be an alpha male say the phrase “I’m an alpha male”. Like you say, he seemed fragile, but I didn’t expect him to “VW” so soon. I thought he’d be more likely to fake an injury or something.

He had four years in the SBS as part of a total of 11 years in the Army and Marines and somewhere in there was a corporal.
He plays the part of Chief Instructor for TV, very far fetched by any standards but more so with his DS 'subordinates' all being experienced Staff Serjeants who probably had a good laugh at him playing the little Hitler part.
