I have a sat tv setup that accesses German TV channels via Astra sat, such as RTL, ZDF, Sport1, Eurosport De, etc. I like to watch winter sports and the German coverage is extensive. However, the signal from RTL, ZDF and Eurosport De seems to have changed recently. Though the programme info is picked up but not the actual transmission. German channel Sport1 is picked no problem, so is Sky News, but not BBC World.
All was good until recently and I have not changed anything on the set up.
There is no mention on the internet of broadcast changes.
Anybody got an idea as what is the problem.

Can you not rescan the channels,I get this the odd time with Freesat the odd channel disappears so just rescan and sorted ..

Thanks. I have done a rescan but no different. However, the signal strength shows only 5% so maybe it's a LNB issue.

You can get iptv for 30 quid a year if it's porn your after . So a mate tells me . Proper gimp midget stuff if that your bag

Or has it got knocked off alignment slightly,had to adjust mine a few weeks back signal strength well down,if not that then could well be LNB issue I got one from screw fix wasn’t that dear either about £20 if I remember right ..

Thks. I think that the dish may have moved slightly, it happened some years ago,

If you can easily reach the dish than buy a signal meter.



From memory, for the German satellite start from due south and move the dish to the east (the other way around for the UK satellite).
