I am going to the match but I have a choice of seats and I've never been to a big match before. Where do you think I should sit? I could sit lower level in the center of the field or behind either goal.

Is there a Man City section?

don't mean to be rude but how the fuk do we know? Sit middle top for the best view...or maybe you can sit pitchside and get a few autographs, will you get me Yaya's....

I'm wondering if maybe somebody heard anything about a City section. If not I'm wondering where the best vantage point would be as the biggest football match I've been to in person is a High School match.

I would suggest you try to sit either on the half-way line for the best view of the whole pitch, not too far up (height-wise) or mid-way along one side of the pitch, so you're closer to one goal and have more of an 'action' vantage point for that.

Do not sit behind the goal.

In England the cheapest seats are behind the goal for a reason, and that is where City supporters often get lumped when travelling away (except at Villa where I believe O'Neill shifted away fans into the corner so Villa could attack both goals with their own supporters cheering them) so avoid these seats.

Conversely the most expensive seats are around the half way line - best view of the entire pitch.

Hope that helps you.

You might also want to be fairly low down to see more of the game up close, than sitting with the gods and getting a nosebleed, but with a little elevation so the pitch isn't too flattened out for you.

If you still need help, send me a 'plane ticket and I'll eat the costs of my consultancy to personally help pick out tickets for you....

;o)

PM sent, I can pick you up at BWI Saturday afternoon.

Actually, thanks for the advice, it's pretty much what I thought but wanted to make sure.

Were sitting lower endzone apparently in the city section. Hopefully the view won't be too bad.

when I bought tickets months ago there were a City supporters end, an Inter supporters end, and then I guess the rest is a free for all. I picked the City supporters end, it's first level behind the goal (which I don't have a problem with like the poster above) and I'd rather sit with my brethren than mixed in with a bunch of ultras.
