Mahrez a dross/ deadwood player?

If Pep is presently wanting him to stay as widely reported, that makes you a liar.
Nope, he is potentially outgoing tho based on reports. you conveniently left out outgoing form my comment. :)

He is not outgoing yet (you wish that but not yet). So, that makes your argument void. You blur things by mixing him with deadwood/dross and leave yourself a window for argument. I know very well where you stand on Mahrez (as you well know) ;)

well he is FFS Mahrez for a reason :), but I think its a great chance if we really get the reported 30m bid for him at age 33 where he is not a fixed starter anymore. financially it makes sense to cash in imo on him if he really fancies it too as I couldnt have imagined anyone paying up for him this much before all this unexpected Saudi frenzy popped up all of a sudden..

wouldnt push him out but taking advantage of the Saudi money gift not a bad option at all. wish we had now the likes of Bony, Mangala complete flops etc we could get serious offers for them lol.

people underestimate how much help this is for likes of Chelsea and Liverpool if they manage to get bids in for Fabinho and Henderson to rebuild their midfield for money that would never have been offered up for their players.
Chelsea would have had to loan out Koulibaly and pay his wages or keep him in the squad on 300k a week for 2-3 more years.. now they got a fee for him and off the wage list forever. huge difference. and that without the shady connections between Boehly and PIF.

we need to make the team younger either way on the wings very soon, especially Bernardo aint 100% certain to stay long term or even short term. Mahrez as it stands imo about to play less than previous season which he already had issues with missing out on first 11 in some crucial games, cannot see that would not happen again as with age he will press even less, work hard even less etc.

could be one of our own younger players can fill in temporarily as well on right wing not against that either if Bobb, Mcatee can be given a proper chance and playing time it well could be that is all they need.

ffs ...

Pep wants to keep him for a reason ...

anyway, you said, "you despise him" years ago ... End.

It’s embarrassing watching the media, Talksport etc do a 180 u turn
Now the dippers are taking the blood money and captain hendo is filling his bank account it’s all about shining a light and implementing change
So in short
Qatar - bad
Abu Dhabi- bad
Saudi - ba……..not so bad

Anything that hinders the red cartel is bad, anything that helps it is good, when newcastle become a serious threat rather than just a novelty like leicester saudi will be bad too.
