Hope there is some truth to this. I think it is unlikely to happen. But if we are looking for a midfielder, and are willing to get rid of Gundogan. That would at least be a step in the right direction.

The club may have been but I know a few Atlético fans who weren't in the slightest bit bothered.
When your an Atlético fan you get used to see the best players leave, it's just the way it is.

I rate the guy, I wouldn't be opposed to his signing at all.

On top of that, the Mancunian accent does not lend itself to pronouncing Saúl too beautifully. So it'd be fun listening to the fans have a bash at it.

Unfortunately we don't deal with those fans. Saul was my ideal target last summer, offers everything you'd want from a Fernandinho replacement.

We were linked with him very heavilly running up to last summer

definitely more of Ferna replacement than Rodri

very doubtful theres anything in it though
