I agree. We needed a campaign formulated by skilled PR and Marketing professionals, not the Rag-Tag of Rag haters (aren't we all), that were throwing their two penn'orth into every new initiative, thereby diluting impact.
I suggest a full and thorough interview process for the next directors of what could be a mouthwatering campaign, offering, the deep satisfaction of seeing Baconface lurking like Dracula in the stands, eying up with barely concealed malevolence, the latest incumbent being slaughtered by Swansea, with first dibs at the resultant piss-taking on here.
We need a more measured campaign for the next stage.

We also need new recruits. The people of this thread have shown themselves to be out of their depth from the very start. It is a disgrace.
I'v already donned sack cloth and ashes in disgrace

Quite so.

-- Tue Apr 22, 2014 7:50 pm --

So you should Mr Underpants. You are up there with the worst of them in your remorseless and pitiless humour-laden vindictive against Davey, and I've no doubt that the three pretty boys busy closing their 242nd shopping mall in Florida were affected by your campaign. So they subsequently abandoned 'The United Way' and binned Gollum in frustration.
Yes, you and your fellow ineffectuals have much to answer for, as a first offence I suggest a compulsory reading of the first three chapters of Ferguson's latest tome, whilst singing Blue Moon naked on public transport.

An utter fiasco is what it's been. And what have they done with our Chosen One banner. Has anyone thought to ask for it back?

I'm going to sleep as well and hopefully when I wake up I'll realise today was just a bad dream and that wee Davey is still in charge and trying to prise Leon Osman away from Everton for £50m.

A sad day after a sterling effort from the chosen one

Lets hope the new man next season also puts in a performance that all Blues can rally round

Be careful what you wish for - Osman will be taking GazBazzer's place for the Neverton match. Nailed on to bag the winner if we're still "Typical City"!

OK guys and girls. It's been tough. It's been emotional. It's been backs to the wall stuff at times and there's been glimmers of hope. But you can only help someone who wants to help themselves and he just wasn't interested in being saved. No shame in doing what we did though.

I think we've all found a sense of togetherness and purpose the last few months so why don't we all take a short break, recharge our batteries and come back refreshed for a new campaign.

- Leave Our Louis.(LOL#)
