I would rather they win nothing but if his job did hinge on this then at least that is some consolation.
I like the idea of them walking in to a meeting room to sack him and seeing him sat there with the cup.
This cuts out their swagger and bullishness right away and within 5 minutes they have not mentioned sacking but asking if everything is ok and would he like a cup of tea.
They may do worse with someone else you never know but with LVG you know what they are getting, turgid shit football week in week out.
Another year with City the top club in Manchester will see more young lads become blues and such.
