Every time I watch United - the further away they get from either the start of the game or half time, they just fall further and further apart. Would love to see something as simple as how many passes they complete from 0-22 mins and then from 23-45 mins, and then from 45-67 mins and then from 68-90 mins. It always feels like whatever structure they're playing with goes out the window. They were better than us in the FA Cup final, partly because our lads were probably still drunk from the title celebrations, but even then they were the width of the crossbar away from being dragged back to 2-2. They always start pretty well but the longer the game goes on the worse they get. They just never seem to get through a match without at least three or four big moments in which the opposition don't even have to do anything to create a chance, the opportunity just presents itself because United's core disintegrates.
