Clearly, Ruben was focusing his telepathic powers into the lads' boots as those penalties were being taken. Sadly, there was nothing in the instructions for his little tiddlywinks board to help him factor-in how dark and wet the night had become. His plan of winning on penalties was cruelly shredded and went awry.

Let's pray that the genius can get his telepathy going at the right time against Burnley tomorrow: lads, altogether now; focus...........RUBEN - IT'S A 3 O'CLOCK KICK-OFF.
 
sadly there is a real danger they fire him before the derby in 3 weeks time.

if Burnley gets anything tomorrow imo thats his last game.

He's had the post-Grimsby vote from Jim.
This means on thing only ; he;s toast, but Jim's waiting for him to jump, so he doesn't have to push him and pay him.
He'll be patient, even if it means having to sit through further pumellings from us, Chelsea and the dippers, Brentford, Leeds etc..etc.
But our man knows the long game ; he's got his orders , and he'll wait, and wait , and wait ...He's not gonna jump.
