This bloke was scammed out of $250k and married the wedding planner as part of the rouse. Has now employed some Ukrainian investigators to get his cash back - who don’t play by the rules - and the perpetrators are now complaining about intimidation. Long article but worth a read

For sure the warning signs were there; old bloke meets young hottie who doesn’t want sex before marriage in place renowned for fake/postal brides.. but the lengths they went to, you have to admire their dedication and improvisation to the task at hand.

They’ll probably end up dead though to the hands of Inspector Igor or his goons. Unless they offer him 50% of the money to say he couldn’t get any, I doubt he’s bent at all
