Schalke Travel Plans

What are the chances of getting a ticket, even in the schalke end? Is it likely to cause trouble or are schalke fans a friendly bunch?

They did have a neutral zone for the Europa League game back in 2008, however I doubt that Shalke will sell those to anyone with an England address
Do you know anyone on the continent who can buy for you?

Basel sold them to my brother-in-law last season he lives in Kent.
He does speak fluent German though.
See no reason why Schalke wouldn't do the same

Seem to be one of the lucky ones that hasn't had my Manc > Düsseldorf flights cancelled. Hoping it stays that way but think I was one of the first to book, so that may be why.

Staying at Duisburg hbf as it was a good compromise of price, and ease of getting back to after the game and then getting to the airport earlyish the next day. I will probably drink on the Wednesday in Essen or Bochum though.

I also seem to be one of the lucky ones (well 6 of us) that haven't had our Manc > Dusseldorf flights cancelled. I booked ours before City officially confirmed the dates so I assume before most people did.

Do you think there is a chance they could still cancel them? I have had confirmation emails and the money has been debited from my account! Don't fancy telling the lads we are going to have to re-book flights via Beirut to get there!!

Did those who have had flights cancelled book direct with the airline? It has been known for 3rd parties like opodo and Expedia not booking the flights until later in the day and then cancelling them as they have gone up in price.

According to the latest review, my Gelsenkirchen hotel offers a “descent breakfast” (Faye-Redwood)

Does that mean the food’s gone downhill?

Why is everyone worrying about tickets have we sold an away game out this season in europe? Hoffeinhiam went to open sale as I think lyon did.

Because this is much easier to get to, a knock out round, plenty of time away to sort out and was a brilliant trip last time - it sells out easily.

All true but hoffeinhiam was easy to get to and this is coming not to long after Xmas and new year and a couple of days before Wembley I think it will go down to all season ticket holders with 5k not on scheme.
