That was hardwork. Watching that just shows the quality we have become used to watching City - players that can pass and control the ball, that can pass and move, cover one another, craft a chance - that was just old fashioned hit and hope. Might have worked for Scotland if Akanji wasn't the classiest, calmest man on the pitch. At the other end, thankfully the Swiss missed their couple of chances.

Roll on Sunday - time for the usual glorious defeat.

Ukraine qualified with 3 points in the last tournament. So a win will give them a chance to go through as best third place - although as the first teams to complete their group others will know what they have to do - so either side could win and hope it is good enough and then find that it isn't.
 
Anyone here work or has worked in tv? Why don’t they use clip mics? Sometimes you watch people and you can tell they’re not used to using one to speak and don’t look as comfortable.
