Is this guy really worth signing? imo he has gone backwards ever since he left charlton and now we're buying him why? yes he's a hard worker but its not as if we dont have enough of them is it? to be honest im scared if the only level of talent we are able to buy is the likes of bridge and parker!! its obvious to me that he will not be good enough for us! he went to chelsea and did absolutely nothing for them and then he couldnt even cut it at newcastle! ok he's one of west ham's better players but come on its not exactly hard to be one of WEST HAM'S best players is it?

He is just the kind of player we need. He will soon become a favourite here as he has been at all his previous clubs (bar chelsea) look at his opta stats. He is a good all rounder and will prove a vast improvement over Haman and Gelson.

I believe Scott Parker is exactly the type we need good engine, sticks his foot in, shows some heart and can see a pass!

Only trouble is keeping him fit!

agreed on the latter, although his alleged sick-note is a concern.
What might also prove a problem is if he gets an inflated salary to entice him here.
(A factor which could provoke disquiet among existing squad members)
