Seriously though, he's an ok player at a good age so hopefully he can improve. He'll give us a bit of pace and width which is needed and hopefully he can raise his game and become a useful addition. I don't think he's as good a player as Johnson but he'll probably have a better attitude and hopefully that will be better overall for the team
My main issue with him is that as a winger I don't think there's anything to separate him between a host of (fairly average) other wingers in the league, including the likes of his teammate Dyer at swansea. I'd have expected liverpool to have signed him and if they did I would have laughed at them stock piling mid table players. I was hoping for a bit more, but fingers crosses this comes off.
Btw, be interesting to see how his replacement Pablo Hernandez compares...

See,that didn`t hurt too much did it mate. ;)
Will be interesting though to see if playing with a better calibre of player,rubs off on the lad and for me a fee that doesn`t really hurt us.
Guess as you say,only time will tell.

He could have already signed, just because it hasn't been announced doesn't mean it's not done. He has been training with the first team according to SSN so this says everything really.
