Sod 'em

Now...

Talk about conspiracy theories but....

6.2 million is a strange figure to be an opening gambit. If you agree with me, the logical conclusion is that some discussion has already taken place.... in order to arrive at the '.2' part.

It sounds to me like Swansea are doing what they did with Liverpool and trying to call our bluff into upping the offer a final time to 6.5 or maybe even 7.

I think is smacks of them trying to make us look embarrassed about the lack of signings (which coincides with their comment about us - 'you'd think they'd have managed this a little more professionally') in order to get us to up the figure.

Sod 'em I say.

Nah. Nothing to see here.

Messi's not coming - and nobody else will do.

If this falls through i will feel sorry for the lad..

This transfer has more or less been a dead cert for weeks and then all of a sudden his team change the goalposts, he must be gutted..

It will be a young players dream to play for the Prem champions, surely his chairman will not deny him this opportunity..

I thought the .2 but was part of the 1.2m that Chelsea would get from any sell on fee?
They wanted a clear 5m for him so added it on.
They must be slow if that was the case why not just ask for 6.2m on the first place?

Getting tired of this fuck them off and watch them cry.
Id have Walcott, he's made out to be shit can't cross etc but I think he'd fit in the team well.

didnt he getting booed by swasea fans in his last game. Gutted for the lad if it doesnt happen but im pretty sure it will get forced through though, it will be tough for him to play for swansea now that the fans know he will be moving on in a year and the chairman would rather sell him than let him go on a free plus i think Laudrup would rather get abit of money and bring his own man then keep an unhappy player!

The last thing we should do now is make knee jerk signings for far more than we should have paid in the first place! We'll be stuck with a full team of RSC's on big money playing no football!!
This window has been one big fuck up and paying over the odds for makeweights at this stage would make us look plain stupid.
Draw a line under it....fire some fucker who's plainly screwed up and wait till January!

Not a big fan of Sinclair but £6 to £8m is not expensive

No, but would he give us any more than AJ would have done?
Mancini's plainly not a great fan of wide men and would he really add to what we finished last season with?
At this stage in the window the only way to rescue things would be to pay outragous money for true quality! ...a la something someone couldn't refuse.
...£40 mill for De Rossi or palm Djeko off and pay top dollar for a better replacement who's a definate improvement i.e Falcao!
No cheap options now at this time!
If we're going to improve on the playing staff that finished 11/12 it will cost a large fortune!!

How did we let ourselves get in this position for a player we didn't have to sell on, we sold AJ before signing the cover for him? It all looks very embarrassing for City's transfer team. It's obvious the price was already agreed, why make it 6.2million, I'd walk away from the deal totaly to show them we can't be messed with. As weve left all these deals till the last minute we'll no doubt get our bottoms spanked!

Walcott over sinclair any day of the week, Sinclair a fair signing for 6.2 mil, but if they want more then goodbye.

This is not embarassing for us for swans it is, with their ceo calling us. Fuck them off the gobshites

What looks to be a planted story in the Fail, says that Swansea hiked the price at the last minute and that we won't go above £6.5m.

Can still see this done on Friday, and Swansea making the next move to get the deal done.
