Currently watching the Scottish Challenge Cup Final - because there's nothing else on! One of the teams is Connah's Quay Nomads (not Scottish but they were invited) managed by Andy Morrison. If ever there was a team moulded in the style of their manager its CQ Nomads - big, aggressive, stretching every rule, not afraid to leave a foot in and have just come up with a goal out of no where!

The match is being played in Inverness not far from where Morrison grew up - so it is almost a home game for him.

Love this photo. One of my favourite ever players to wear the shirt. Beast.

Jock Morrison's contribution to our current situation can never be overstated. He was exactly what the team - and club as a whole - needed at that point.

I read his autobiography a short time ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. He was very candid about his demons and didn’t shy away from the problems he created for himself.

A City legend.

No doubt.
