Scottish Independence

The leadership of the SNP agreed that the result if the 2014 referendum should last a generation (30 years). So they should be bound by this decision.
That said you just can't keep saying no, so in my opinion, if the Scotish people decide for 2 consecutive elections that Leave parties constitute more than 50% of the vote then they should be able to have another independence referendum. They just achieved this in 2015 but have not done since. They achieved 46% on the 12th December (SNP+Green vote).

They have yet to do this, ever. They achieved 46% on the 12th December (SNP+Green vote).
Who says they should or shouldn't.

Wait, what?
Holyhead in Wales gets an awful lot of traffic from Southern Ireland. When I lived there it certainly wasn't uncommon to see a fair few cars with Irish plates in the supermarket car parks, especially around Christmas time. Same at Fishguard. I have a relative who works at the ferry port and they often see regulars coming back and forth. Empty on the way in; loaded on the way out.

Local businesses in those areas must have loved that. Bumper Christmas payday all round.

Agreed with whom? and bound by who?

So, Boris then Shouldn't implement brexit, as he has only 43% of the vote. Why do people keep spinning numbers how it suits them, when the most recent seems to count.

They voted for it in 2016. And said voted-for parliament passed it yesterday, by 68 to 54.
Since when does a seat majority equate to a percentage majority - the type of majority required to win a referendum?
They achieved it (just) in 2015 but were then tied by the 2014 referendum result.

The SNP lost the Scotish referendum in 2014 and were bound by their pledge of waiting for a generation (30 years) to have another go. It takes a lot to get a 2nd bite at the cherry.
Leave won the 2016 UK referendum so the government is finally fulfilling the result of that referendum.
