this player is Spain through and through , and doesn't really want to play anywhere else ...... the only way he's gonna leave that country is if the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid fail to show an interest in him ... or Valencia make it clear that ,for whatever reason , he HAS to move on.

Valencia striker David Villa has revealed that he may be interested in making a switch to the Premier League next season.
Los Che are believed to be crumbling under a debt thougt to be in the region of £600 million, and are widely rumoured to be on the verge of a blowout sale of some of their stars to ease the financial burden.
The 28-year-old Villa had several suitors during the summer, but insisted that he wanted to remain in Spain. However, the hitman has now conceded that he could make a move elsewhere during the summer.
"Quite simply, I rejected the possibility of moving abroad [in the summer] because there were issues that would not allow me to leave my country," Villa told The Times.
"My wife was pregnant and it didn't seem right to leave.
"I like the Premier League a lot. It's the league I follow the most along with La Liga and I've got a lot of friends playing there. There are a lot of globally important teams there that play very good football."
He added: "Maybe quite a few years ago, Spanish players were reluctant to leave La Liga for another league, but that's all changed now. There are very important players, a showcase of Spanish footballers playing for Premier League clubs, and there are players in other leagues, lesser leagues, as well. I think that the Spanish footballer has changed in this aspect in the last few years."
The Spaniard has remained loyal to his club and scored 12 goals in 14 games this season, despite intense speculation surrounding his future at the Mestalla.
Villa continued: "I have a duty to Valencia. It's my club - the one that pays my wages and with whom I have a contract.
"This summer, they'll have a look at things, analyse them and in time we'll see what happens.
"All I can do now is stay relaxed, try and score as many goals as possible and have as good a season as possible, as much as with my club as with the national team."
He added: "Adapting to a new language, to the football, it's all part of being a footballer. Having said that, I'm comfortable here, calm, happy. I show that better out on the pitch than in front of a microphone.
"We're still a long way off from the months of June and July, and when they come around we'll analyse the situation then."
Villa has in the past been linked with possible moves to Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Yeah , have read that , but to me it still shines through that he doesn't really want to leave Spain ...... he's always played his football there , and it seems to me that he's gonna have to be 'forced' to go rather than he , himself , opts to go ...... he may also really want his child to be brought up there now too in Spanish schools etc
having said that , at 28 , he's unlikely to get many more chances to move abroad , as his value could depreciate with age ....... it'll be interesting to see what happens.
