Search engine virus?

guys I've had a problem all week.basically when using google or bing.

everytime I put something into the search engine I get a normal list,say for example man city.

so I get a list of all the usual sites etc.top of the list is mcfc.co.uk

So I click on that but up come omanhospital.com or buyacar.com or groupon.com or any number of junk sites that I'm not clicking on.

It doesnt matter what the search is that i do,same thing happens everytime,so I guess I've a virus but my anti virus isnt picking anything up..

anyone got any ideas to help?

google combofix. should take you to "my bleeping computer" use it wrong it will fuck up your pc. use it right it will kill the virus.

just installed it and ran it and its sorted it out...fair play mate!

now if only I could figure out why my laptop decides at random times to start acting like I'm continously pressing the tab button!
