What happened to the DVD/ video for our relegation season from Prem under Royle? Did they not make one? I would like to relive that year - not literally.
no mate we have had season reviews ever since 88/89 promotion but not in 95/96 ,97/98 or 2000/01 which all ended in relegations biggest surprise was they actually released one from 2006/07 which i one of the worst ever seasons i have ever witnessed but i still bought it

Actually there was one in 95/96. But they cut out all the games we lost(apart from the derby's) and just showed longer highlights of the games we won/drew, which somehow managed to make it look like we had a decent, but very short season!

Should we not all wait and give CITY the revenue?

Wouldn't be surprised if MCFC don't get the same slice wherever a copy is sold. Can't imagine that City would be commercially naive to lose sales to Amazon or HMV. The difference between the City Shop price of £19.99 and the Amazon price of £12 is going in somebody else's pocket!
Kitbags pocket to be precise !

If feel so strongly about City missing out on dome money.but the DVD from Amazon for £12 delivered and write a cheque to the club for £8. Everyone's a winner

It's City's choice what mark-up they put on it.

The way I look at it is that it costs me £7 to get to town and £20 to buy it. It costs me £13 off Amazon. That saves me £14. I am unemployed as from next week. That £14 means a sight more to me than it does to City. I ain't feeling guilty!:)

Under Pearce didn't we have the 10 best throw ins dvd due to a chronic lack of goals in 2006-2007 season ?

And I have every single one. I would have bought the other two as well (there was one in 95/96) At the end of the day, it's a historical library and you take the rough with the smooth. Despite relegation there were some good days in all of them seasons. I would have loved to seen the 6-0 against Swindon and 5-0 against Everton again but it's not to be. At the end of the day, the videos wouldn't have turned in a profit so you can't blame the club. They're not all soft like us. :)

Waiting for mine to come of play.com. What is behind the scene thing like on disc 2?

is there any way of finding out where the money goes..

if city get more profit from fans buying it at the store then i would rather get it from there..

after all the cash that the owners have put into our club over the past few years i am sure £8 from us wont be missed.

speak for yourself, £8 might not be a lot for you but when you can get exactly the same product from amazon / HMV (delivered for nowt) didn't have to think twice, 60% takes the piss.

I am not saying its not a worthwhile saving but i would rather more money went into citys coffers rather than Amazons.

You might want to ask yourself then why Amazon and HMV can charge £12 with free postage and make a profit and City choose to charge £19.99 for the same product and a charge for postage? Seems commercially niaive to me.
