Season ticket payments - refunds/credits due by June 19th

I am hearing the club are legislating for no spectators for the entirety of next season.

As a result, one of the plans currently being discussed is to write off the season-ticket roll out and reimburse for the missed games this season.

In addition, fans would not lose their season card entitlement for the 21-22 season.

Other ideas being tossed about are a half-season ticket, but that seems unlikely.

Seriously. Wow.

It’s funny, was just this morning having a chat with my son whilst running about this very issue.

Although lots of people, yourself included if I remember correctly, were saying behind closed doors footy would be the end of their affiliation with the club, I can start to see some form of logic from what the authorities are thinking.

Seems we aren’t going to get to games, pubs etc for a long while and I suppose it just might be that we all have to accept behind closed doors footy as the only way for the next 12 months or so that we get to see some live sport. Not what anyone particularly wants, but if it’s Europe/World wide then watching some footy may actually be better than having nothing to do in the days and evenings.

Almost like the ghost of Thatcher (not you Rammy) in 1985 from the good/bad old days when she said that with TV money you didn't need people in the stadiums. Just build big walls around the pitches.

I would personally rather the club did something special for season ticket holders for the money we have already paid. I would like to see them do a lottery of sorts, signed match worn shirts from every player in each of the 3 kits plus signed match balls, match worn boots, even signed kits for next season. The chance to interview the players and Manager next season, maybe a interview with khaldoon signed goalkeeper gloves, take part in a first team training session etc also for the women's team too. Next season will be what it is I suppose.

Do you think if......(and its a big if), there is no live football until 2021 and all the games are behind closed doors, that gives the league an "out" finish this season behind closed doors as and when they get the go ahead and then have a shortened break at some point and start next season in the autumn or early winter with a "plan" to reopen the grounds the 2nd half of the season, whenever that might be.

Possibly, but the government scientists will be calling the shots and not the footballing bodies.

Just rang the club to get a refund for Real Madrid ticket. -...."You do realise that you'll be removed from the cup scheme"?

No shit Sherlock, gimmi my refund : /

There goes your chance of a final ticket ;)

I expected them to do that, just waiting for my big lump sum in the summer, and wonder how they will invent an alternative to try not to pay people back.

I need the £1300 quid back. I suspect most people would need the cash back in the current climate. On average, a season-ticket holder would be owed £220 each.

Anybody help out / update me on this situation. Too many post to read back through.

I cancelled my direct debit weeks ago but now see the money has still gone out of my account! Maybe a bank issue but right now I’m 4 season ticket fees down.

what are the club doing about refunds ? Have they said can’t see much on website.

I can’t believe they don’t have a latest news page pinned to the top.

I’m really not impressed by the club, Iv had no email explaining anything either. Piss poor

I emailed my account manager a few weeks back to see what they were doing as payment for next season is due for me end of April.

The response I got was payment is still being taken for next season as per the terms of my contract and they will be in touch when they have something to announce re the rest of this season and next

To be fair to the club they can’t really do anything until they know what happening. The need the FA/PL to make a concrete decision which is difficult in the current circumstances.
