Season Ticket Renewals - small increases (again)

up 15 quid yet despite the quality we watch people moan.

only City fans.

Absolutely nothing to do with the quality of football on display. City being good now doesn’t make us fans any richer in any way, shape or form and therefore shouldn’t have any sway in prices. Do you think they would offer a reduction if we were to have a bad season? Off the pitch, They’re turning us into everything we always hated about Manchester United, and it’s stupid comments like this that are turning the fans the same way too.

Hi DD, I'm on the front row of the CB and I love it! OK sometimes we don't exactly see right over to the other side but boy can I shout at the opposition managers for not staying in their technical area!! :-) Also I can shout encouragement to our players especially when we have a throw in near us.

However I didn't get a cut in price. Or are you referring to the 3 rows across the aisle from me that were an addition a while ago. They go a little lower so may be dreadful.
I know some people like the intimacy, EB, but a great tactical brain like myself needs more perspective.

I saw a table of prices and it included "Pitchside Seating" for about half the cost of other areas. It didn't say which seats it covered so may not have been yours.

I see a lot of justification of another increase because we have won a domestic treble and seeing the greatest football we have ever seen as City.

So by that logic i guess when Pep goes and we have a slump and win nothing for a few years we can expect a reduction then?

No because then it'll be "Well we need to put it up so we can buy players that can get us back to the Pep days". Some people think City can do no wrong and will eat up anything they do without looking at the bigger picture

Very disappointing to see an article on the MEN that the price increase has been backed by the 1894 group. They’re supposed to be the voice of the fans, that is the polar opposite to the views of most fans. The club will see something like that, they will think fans are happy enough with the increase and so they push it a little bit higher still the season after next. They’ll lose a lot of support and credibility amongst other fans for that.

No its not the polar opposite view of most of the fans. Just because it's your view it is not the same for the rest, every single season ticket holder I know is fine with the small increase and teh 1894 Group are talking on behalf of the majority here, as the renewal figures will show.

Random question to which I’d be interested to see if anyone knows the definitive answer....

With a children’s ticket when they enter the turnstiles they get an additional yellowy bar inside the green bar so the steward knows it’s a child entering.

What happens with an 18-21 ticket? Do they still get an additional bar or is it the same entry as an adult ticket?

Think it flashes orange still, so the Steward can see its a concession or youth/18-21 ticket, if they are actually watching it...

My season card went up £15 but after 16 years i have decided enough is enough. The ironic (or moronic) thing is, the box they send it in probably costs the increase or at least a big chunk of it.

Also how many will drop from Platinum to Gold? Meaning a £15 increase results in a £35 net loss overall.

Those fans also that moan about FA Cup tickets being £115. Well next year they will probably be £125 so if you save up £2.60 a week for the next 48 weeks that should cover the cost, that is the UK football fan logical thinking isn't it?

Short term gains for long term losses.
