Anyone know what Gold Test 22/23 is, just noticed it showing up under season tickets?

Due to the increase in demand for season tickets, City are making all supporters complete the hardest obstacle course known to man prior to the first home game of the season. Those who fail to make it will have their season ticket revoked (and then resold as a silver ticket). They've dubbed it the Gold Test as it's going to be a real slog - survival of the fittest, etc.

I really would not be surprised if another ST window is on the way this summer personally. Wishful thinking on my part, and obvs no guarantees any of us would be successful second time around, but I can just see it happening. It would be very interesting if it included some gold too.

The point is there would be uproar and rightly so, at that point you won’t need people who have their needs satisfied telling you you’re wrong on the opinions of your own.

I’ve contacted city and I’m on the Facebook page. Appreciate the suggestions but the reason of the season ticket was to try stop all the faff but isn’t to be. Just glad I got them socks in my £35 membership.



Great, I get a fiver off an overpriced ticket. I only joined a bit ago with the offer of getting on a waiting list. There isn’t a waiting list. I sourced my tickets elsewhere most of the time due to the rip off nature of football

I gave up my season ticket four years ago after 37 years as a ST Holder.....big mistake but had to be a done at the time. I've dipped in and out and still attend quite a few games, alas my son is desperate for a season ticket.

My issues with Silver.
- it's a con as buying a membership is a lottery.
- communication- why couldn't city tell all us numpties stuck in a queue for 45 minutes that it was sold out?

Luckily we are great on the pitch as off it we are an embarrassment.

A lot of what he says is true. The way he delivers it probably rubs some people up the wrong way and maybe some take pleasure in provoking him too.
We all have differing opinions and some are more forthright than others. He doesn't seem alone in that regard.

Maybe, I think the shift in delivery and tone was after Tuesdays mess whilst being preached to by season ticket holders. If silver is defended along with city’s release on Tuesday then my back will be up. It would have been nice for city fans to come together at a time the club has shafted a number of them, instead they defend a process they aren’t involved in and a ticket they didn’t take up themselves.
