I had the same while getting a ticket for my dad. He's disabled. Have you got something to prove that? Erm he's sat here in a wheelchair. You want me to get him out and see how far he can walk before he falls over?

I can see why they do it, it was human error and unfortunately to get it sorted we need to sort it out by getting a piece of paper. It's just the attitude sometimes that annoys me.

I've had it where the payment bounced for a cup scheme and my seasoncard for a premier league game was temporary suspended because of it, then I was spoke to like a piece of shit because unfortunately the day they tried to take the money out was a few days before payday and I couldn't do anything about it, one reason why I'm reluctant to sign up for cup scheme this season.

I too am Registered Disabled. All I have to do each season is produce an upto date record from DWP,confirming I am still on the high rate of Disablity.
No problems for me and they even accept e-mails with an attachment of the DWP paperwork.

O can you? They never mentioned that when I said I don't carry it around with us and I'm gonna have to go back to Rochdale to bring it back. This was a good few seasons ago but they've never mentioned it once how I can simply email it over. It's just there attitude, it's sometimes lacking a bit of manners.

Cheers for that.

The Staff in the Ticket Office do get a hard time. I've seen Blues giving them all sorts of grief over ridiculous niggles (not that I'm saying this one is a ridiculous niggle) but one or two of them can be a bit casual with people. We're spending a fortune on tickets and get average service at best.

The Lad who last dealt with me on the phone sounded bored as fuck. I nearly reminded him to be grateful he had a job because many hardworking Mancs ain't got one.

sounds about as a piss-poor service as you get when you ring up too, I recently had a MCFC survey to fill in that asked questions on ease of gaining tickets, I had my say, they are useless whether you do it in person, by phone or online!!

I'm going down tomorrow for my annual piss-poor service.

For the OP 5 years ago when he got his first season ticket is it possible the wrong year was entered on the form?. Understand your anger but it is also possible it's your mistake not the ticket offices

Always come across topics with negative comments about our ticket office but honestly I've never had a problem, always been helpful with me.

I'm not saying they can't be bastards, and to be honest a big company would usually just waver the £50 for fear of bad pr and customer retention but we're dealing with football and clubs do abuse our loyalty sadly :(

had both good and bad service from ticket office employees but there are alot more complaints on here than compliments for them so what does that tell you?

That people are more inclined to complain than praise?

There's poor service and satisfactory service. Occasionally there's exceptional service, too.

Opposite experience for me. Im now 21 so expected to pay adult price because i turn 22 during next season. Guy at the ticket office says no you have 1 more year at 18-21 price so saved £140.

Happy days.

That's always been the case. You pay for the age bracket you are in at the start of the season. Not the case with away tickets (not sure about home cup games?) though - you'll pay the adult price after your birthday - so get cash rather than presents ;-)

For ST and Cup Scheme tickets Its the age your are as of 1 August and the age range is inclusive so if on the qualifying date you are 21 then you pay that age range even if you are 22 on 2 August As regards proof of age then there has always been a requirement to produce this
good to know because my sons birthday is the 1st of august when this year he will be 15, but obviously the ticket office say i have got it wrong he is 16?

I went down this morning to renew my season card and was treated most courteously and very helpful with no hitches or problems whatsoever.

In fact I have never had any problems at the ticket office upstairs or outside one.

I have found out through life though that if you approach anyone with an aggressive manner you have a very good chance of getting the same attitude back.

Plus 0ne :)
pleased for the pair of you?

no why should i put 94 instead of 96, and if i did put 94 why did they not charge me the extra last year? as it starts as from the 1st of august? all i am trying to do is make people aware to take id,s birth certificates etc so they won,t be sent away then have to come back the same or later day like i had to, i don,t want other blues wasting their time or having to take more time off work if they don,t need too, if i am handing over nearly £800 then i least expect some civility
