tried to pay for my sons and mine on line for east stand level one, it kept coming up £50 dearer for my sons, so i had a look in the brochure and noticed that over 16s was that price, so i decided to take cash down and pay at the window, qeued up for 35 mins only 3 windows on, i then explained the situation which i was then told my son is two years older than what i thought he was, i said no he was born in 96 to which she replied well we have him down as 16, so i tried to explain look i think you have got this wrong he has had a season ticket now for five years and i bought it him is first one when he was nine, well the computer says different? so i said can you get me the supervisor, the supervisor came and said well what can we do about it, i said take my money so i can get home, ok she said but you won,t get your tickets untill you have been back with his birth certificate, i said so because of someone of incompitence in your office has put the wrong date in the computer i have to drive home come back later, no come back when you like, so that i did with copies of his certificate etc, qeued for another 30 mins i asked to see the supervisor ho she is on her dinner then in i spotted her walking through the office i said thats her , she then took the copies talking down to me like i was dirt, so if anyone is thinking of going down to get their junior as well as their own then please take some junior id?

Nothing's changed then still a bag of shite the ticket office.
it was just their attitude towards me as though i was trying to rip them off for £50, well i do look a bit shifty so i might be being a bit harsh? but it is worth telling the guys to take their kids id down with them because they will send you away? obviously it is a computer error but if someone as fed the wrong info in then it as obviously happened more than once?

The ticket office has always been a boil on the arse of Manchester City Football Club.

If the club want to improve the "supporter experience" then employ proper knowledgeable and customer-focussed staff.

Had a run in with them for the FA Cup final tickets. Outrageously arrogant behaviour and had it not been for my lad wanting to carry on going I would have seriously considered packing it in.

And, yes, I have attended numerous Fans Committee meetings and had the same response I got from those working in the ticket office!

I went down this morning to renew my season card and was treated most courteously and very helpful with no hitches or problems whatsoever.

In fact I have never had any problems at the ticket office upstairs or outside one.

I have found out through life though that if you approach anyone with an aggressive manner you have a very good chance of getting the same attitude back.

The computer system is rubbish and the ticket office staff are are poorly trained.

I am awaiting a letter telling me about leaving the family stand when a junior becomes too old. The ticket office told me to expect it in 'a couple of days', and before the renewal perion began. That was over three weeks ago.

I still haven't got the letter.

Can I be bothered to ask them about it again, and be treated to the same usual cluelessness, phone calls not returned as promised and less than brilliant manners?

No.
