New season tickets should be offered on a loyalty points basis. No need to create phantom 300 year waiting lists like at the red shite clubs, just simply offer them on a diminishing loyalty points basis. The fact they don’t do this does suggests they’re doing what they can to get JCL’s through the door before the so called legacy supporters. This takes us back to the joke of a sales criteria for the Madrid game as well. This sort of shit needs calling out now before it becomes the norm for all fixtures.Agreed, but they won't. Only going one way unfortunately. Can't see them increasing season ticket prices and not increasing the matchday prices.
The no criteria rule is appealing to the JCL's as they believe they have a chance of a season ticket. If they knew there were a few thousand in front of them in the pecking order it would hinder membership sales. As unfair and unjust as that is I think that's the reality.
The membership now is almost just a permission to buy a ticket that would have previously been on general sale. It's not fit for purpose.
