Season Tickets - 2024/25

Same as last season, they have sent me tickets via email to download to my wallet, not ideal but better than queuing at the portacabin.

Walked past that queue at the portacabin on Saturday, it was longer than the queues at the bar in the South Stand, another absolute shambles of a season upcoming from 'our' ticket office

Oh and whilst im at it, my NFC didnt work again so I had to switch to the barcode method for me and young Gaz

For those that have the error on Android that they cannot add a SC because it is already associated with another device then this might be worth trying. Open the Gmail app on your phone and click your profile at the top right and follow the instructions in the screenshot below. Sign out of any devices showing that aren't your current one and if that doesn't work maybe sign out of your current one and resign in

They did last season for me but still got a response it was already attached to another device!

Just emailed them this morning and got an instant automated response giving me a link to apply for plastic season cards.
Rang them to tell them that they were supposed to be cancelling the ones that I can't download and resending them via link to new Google account so I can download.
Was told that they are unable to do this and that they are fully aware of the Google account problem for me and many other fans.
Told me I'll have to wait 21 days for a response!
Reading between the lines I think they have realised that they can't sort the issue with Google and anyone with issues will have the old style cards issued.
If this is the case I'm more than happy as long as I get accepted for cards.
From a customer service point the club need to look at this as two of the three people I've spoken to at the ticket office have been very dismissive and rude.
The ticket office is an absolute shambles.
I keep getting emails regarding booking parking match day experience packages when all I want is my fucking season tickets!!

Sorry about that but it was just a thought as I've done that on a device that I sold and the buyer couldn't play a game on it. It worked after I did it so something happened.

I've been searching to see if you can find and delete old accounts off a different device remotely but I've not seen a way to do it (probably for security reasons).

They removed the QR code from Iphones God help us lot when it fails at the turnstile.

I use entrance Y which has no turnstiles. It’s just guy’s with a handheld reader.

He just looked at my screen. Presumably saw there was no QR code, which there was last season. So just scanned the back of my phone, through a case even and seemed quite happy and waved me through.

Have to say, all last season when there was also no turnstiles, was the quickest I’ve ever know it for getting in.

i was fucking let in by the steward after he checked my fucking season card that didnt work.

now my fucking club are saying i didnt attend

honestly ,im so fucking sick of this fucking shit

I know. I’m just saying you said it’ll be chaos if the turnstiles fail. But it seems to work better if they’re not working and they just give the guys hand held devices.

now my fucking club are saying i didnt attend

I just managed to speak to someone on Citys helpline,and she said disregard the email
I have just received about not attending saturday v ipswich, i said i have to trust you its been wiped off my non attendence, i can't believe this is happening to me , no one gives a fuck.

I know it’s annoying. I’ve had them myself a couple of times when I’ve been, and it feels like a personal attack on your loyalty.

But if you can just accept it’s a computer generated email, that doesn’t mean fuck all, you’ll probably feel a bit better.

No,I wont,I attended saturday like Iv done for decades,with a poxy mobile system that continually fails me,I didnt want it,but had to accept it a few years ago.

I'am on the verge of giving up.But i know.i know city wont give a fuck.

it is disgraceful this mobile ticketting crap.

This alerted me to look, clicked on wallet and got message 'there was a problem setting the account to active'.
Followed online advice to delete and reinstall wallet app, but now getting 'this app won't work for your device' (it's a moto G5 android), so, like your mate, no idea where to go with that now, unless I can direct membership to my 'Drive' (google drive) where I import train tickets etc.?

I think you have to update the software on your phone in settings?

Just had the same and have sent a very abusive response....... maybe if I could download the fucking things I may have attended the fucking game..... wife's just told me to grow up

Thanks uwe, but I contacted motorola and they say the G5 no longer has the system capacity to support google wallet and cannot be upgraded beyond the current 8.1, where the problem lies. I don't use wallet app to make payments but not having it leaves me high and dry if the club offer no alternative ticketing method, even another app (like drive) to import the membership to.
I can't be the only one to have a relatively old phone and am reluctant to fork out to replace an otherwise functioning model - poor from Moto and intransigence, by the sound of things, from City.
I never understood the full transition away from card scan entry - they didn't even need to issue new cards each season, just refresh the card each year, or at least 3 seasons life for each card...
