Seasoncard - 2021/22

I have ergh a friend. Originally he asked about deferring this season. Before making his decision the club automatically renewed him on his old package, cup schemes etc. Long story short this ergh friend has had no money debited on the 1st of August or the 15th and yet he has the Norwich ticket in his apple wallet.
This friend is wondering if the ticket will work and it is just City are totally useless or should he risk trying to speak to Bernard Halford ?

Bit of a risk trying to speak to Bernard. The spirit realm can be tricky, and demons pretend to be people they are not.
 
If I were said friend I would go to game albeit very early. If I didn’t get in I would point the finger at city’s ticket management incompetence. If I got in I would keep schtuum! Oh and maybe wrong here but is Bernard halford still with us ??

But it does know the difference between a Barcode and a QR code.
Otherwise the club could have just said, any phone will do as long as you have email address ?
People are going out and buying new phones and even printers.
I’m not saying you’re wrong by the way, but if this actually works, then questions will need to be asked.

What I’m saying is, if you don’t have an NFC phone you could opt for “print at home” tickets, and instead of actually printing them, just scan the barcode/QR code from your phone screen.

The scanner won’t know or care whether it’s scanning paper, or a screen, or a tattoo of the code on your arse cheek.

It’s the same thing when you scan an e-ticket with a barcode/QR code at a gig, or an airport, or scan your Tescos clubcard on your phone at the tills.

** The only caveat being some very old barcode scanners can’t read phone screens. This is pretty rare and the only time I’ve come across it in everyday life is some of the outdated tills in Co-op stores. **
