Fair play City. The drop-in IT at the Etihad was well organised and sorted my tickets out quickly and made it understandable.
Just to let you know that Supporter Services did call me back and have sorted the issue - it was because I had registered them ages ago with a .googlemail address and logged in this time using .gmail and the system didn't recognise it and created a new membership.I am in touch with Supporter Services via Danny Wilson and I know from my Supporters Club that a few people have had the same issue. I'll let you know how I get on - the real issue is that Supporter Services weren't taking calls last time I tried (which I would have thought maybe means they aren't really offering much of a service?) so you can only email them and then they just don't reply. I only got a call from them because I happened to have Danny's email from another issue but the club really needs to do better. And even them turns out they haven't sorted it.
Down just before lunch, 3 staff taking 2 hours to clear about 10 people, luckily a beautiful roving young lady of staff confirmed I'd downloaded correctly and accompanied me to the turnstyle to prove so.Fair play City. Did the email arrive in your spam folder by any chance?Ive downloaded my ticket no problem. But could someone please explain to me how to set up a city account for both my boys so I can download both season tickets on my phone for them.
I've tried ringing and can't get through
I've just had email saying tap this link and you don't have to have a login account for them but the link doesn't work.
Is it just me being thick or are other people having same problem
No came to my direct email.....at this rate I'm going to have to make 110mile round trip to ground to get it sorted!!!Did the email arrive in your spam folder by any chance?
Hopefully it won’t come to that.No came to my direct email.....at this rate I'm going to have to make 110mile round trip to ground to get it sorted!!!
@henrythedogcity@Henry I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but the email link didn't work for me either. I copied the link address and then pasted it into Chrome browser and it worked then.
Please note: Mobile Season Tickets can be added to Android devices with NFC. Occasionally you will have a logo printed on the phone, or it will appear in your taskbar (when switched on). Otherwise, the best way to find if your phone has NFC is to find the settings for it on your phone. For any technophobes out there that DO have an Android phone - my phone does NOT have NFC chip inside it, but the downloaded ticket with the odd QR/Bar code WORKS at the turnstiles.
Just put it in face up like you would a cardboard ticket and voila - entry!
Cannot believe it has taken me 5+ hours on hold, countless tweets and a trip to the stadium to sort this out though!!!!
Weirdly, if you access your ticket without nfc enabled, the ticket shows a barcode but if you turn it on and access the ticket the barcode disappearsBarcode? I think the mobile tickets are NFC and not scannable via any barcode or QR code otherwise. How and where can you see the barcode? Mine doesn't have anything at all. It's plain blank, now I'm worried if it's downloaded properly. Is there supposed to be a bar or qr code on them as well??
I think the club may being economical with the truth there - I dont have NFC chip in my cheap Android - but without NFC the ticket looked different apparently - it has a standard bar code (see below) that can be downloaded into Google Pay and simply be scanned at the turnstile - I imagine that's the same for paper tickets. Please note: Mobile Season Tickets can be added to Android devices with NFC. If you can't find NFC, your phone will not support Mobile Season Tickets.
- Open Settings.
- In the 'Search settings bar, type 'NFC'.
- Tap and turn on NFC.
I just hope nobody has any problems on the day pal.I

But....that would also mean screenshots would work, but for obvs reason the club don't want to tell peoplee that (I think)
Has anyone spent five hours, countless tweets and a trip to the stadium to find out if the fuckers sorting the car park out know there's a game Saturday? All I'm getting on the Car Parking menu is NO EVENTS! No fuckin' events? Doesn't a home footy match count as an event? For any technophobes out there that DO have an Android phone - my phone does NOT have NFC chip inside it, but the downloaded ticket with the odd QR/Bar code WORKS at the turnstiles.

I have emailed 3 times 5 days apart and not had a response apart from the generic one from mancity@mancity.com :(Despite being paid by Direct Debit for the last god knows how many years, one of our seasoncards hasn't renewed this year. We only realised when we tried to download the mobile tickets last week.
Contacted supporter services last weekend and they said we'd need to send an email to mancity@mancity.com. Did that and was advised we'd get a response in 5 working days. Had nothing back so have tried chasing. Spent an hour on hold with supporter services on Friday, Saturday and now this morning but not managed to get through. Tried contacting them on Twitter and that didn't work either.
Any advice on how to get a response?
