Seasoncard Renewals | Slight Price Increase

Wasting your time with that happy clapper ,really didn't need it as I pay for 3 season cards and the lad goes into the adult band this year ,so I'm probably looking at a £300 rise this time ,which will probably end up with one card getting cancelled as I carnt justify the girls who can only attend 50 % due to work ,dosnt help at the Brighton game we listed 3 seats together and they didn't sell
Not good mate..it's sad that fans are being priced out by these price rises..
As a lot have already said it's not a huge rise but it been a steady rise over the last 10 years..

Mute point, but nevertheless.

If money is so tight at City that they have to claw back £800k-£1mill through a season ticket price rise every season, why did City let Garcia sign for Barcelona on a free when City could have easily got £10mill(10 season ticket price rises) for him, if not more?

Don't say because we needed him, as he wasn't included in all the remaining games at City, and when he did play, he was a disaster. As for Barcelona being skint, they could have afforded £10mill if not more.

It amazes me how City constantly write off £10'smill when selling a player or allowing them to leave on a free, yet raise season ticket prices every season to claw back a paltry £800K-£1mill.

Maybe City should cut their cloth accordingly and find savings throughout the club on unnecessary and wasteful expenditure every season, instead of passing £800k-£1mill on to City's financially hard pressed working class fan base.

I don't know what to tell you, pal, someone at the ticket office was mistaken. There is a "waiting list" (it's listed as a perk of the matchday membership - see below), and there will be a small window of new tickets on sale after the renewal window closes. They go very quickly, but if you're on it you can normally grab one. In the pandemic disrupted season I messed about and missed it, but last year they broke the new tickets window into points. Keep an eye out on here and email to see when the date will be.

Thanks for the correct information.
It's doesn't surprise me that a member of our ticket office staff was just making it up as she went along. ( not the first time this season) cheers blue CTID

I'll keep an eye out for when they announce dates of it opening and try and send it over.

I have a really specific question that club couldn’t really answer! I’ve had a season ticket this season but my dad is looking to get one with my brother in law for next season

Obviously I’d like to sit with them, I asked the club what’s my best chance of getting us all tickets together? Obviously there’s the renewal window for my ticket and there is going to be a relocate window when that comes around but I imagine the relocate window isn’t going to the same window as when match day members (my dad and brother laws window) can get their season ticket? Just don’t really know what’s best to do hoping someone can help me

Priced out come one mate your talking the price of 2 pints mine has gone up by
Good for you, not all rises were the same. Shockingly, your experience is not universal.

What I'm talking about is the fact we've had years of rises (I've seen 6 of the last 8, and 9 of the last 10 touted separately) and it's always dismissed with the same bollocks: "ah, it's only a few quid, it's still great value".

It adds up and whether it's £25 too much in one season or £200/300 too much in a decade, people get priced out. End of the day we're not talking about money that's keeping us in business or making sure we're competitive, we're talking about a profit margin for the likes of Ferran Soriano. If you're fine with that, you do you, but know where you stand - it's not with your fellow Blues.
