Seat Counters - 2024/25

It will be interesting to see where the Leyton Orient away tickets end up.(if Leyton Orient beat Derby?) Any tickets that end up on ticket touting websites should be bought back by the club and those people trying to sell those tickets should be banned from having away tickets for life. Over to you ticket compliance manager.

Are you saying that it may not always be "the club" at fault but some supporters are ripping off other supporters?

They aren't going to investigate themselves.

We know a bit of that goes on because when City first had a ticket resale system. Some Blues on here defended reselling tickets to other fans at well above face value because “Vianogo was an official partner”.

What’s going on with the ticketing today? I’m logged in to get an Arsenal ticket at 10am and there’s 13578 in front of me in the Q!
2nd release of chelsea home tickets at the same time. You should still be fine for an arsenal ticket, I'd just give it an hour or so

I cannot understand that behaviour.
I am sure you are the same, would never want to profit from City fans
I have given my season card(when I had one) away on many occasions .
I remember 76 Wembley, one of our group was ticket less, we were asking everyone and finally a fellow blue who had a spare gave it to my mate, no money asked for. I have never forgotten.
OK with the high costs of tickets not many would do that but the sentiment is similar.

Well said asahartford1.

FWIW, there are a lot of generous people on this forum who try to help fellow Blues. The piss takers, in my experience, are very much in the minority.

Yep. 2nd release went on sale at 10am. Still staggered at the size of the queue though. Likely to be only 2 or 3 thousand tickets with what looks like nearly 17,000 fans in the queue fighting over them!

Bearing in mind it took me 10 minutes to get through the queue, this is what went on sale for Chelsea this morning

L1: 148
L2: 102
L3: 313
Total: 563 (About 10:10am)

No big blocks of seats that would suggest returns from Hospitality or 3rd Party sites, likely just exchange seats

Is it possible that a good chunk of tickets got sold in that first 10 minutes before you got on? That said, it only allows so many people on the site at any one time so maybe only a few hundred more than that 563 were available to start with.

I've watched a little bit and they're not exactly flying out the door although they are shifting, as you say there'll only be a small number of people on the website at once.

I'd guess that at 10am it was anything between 700 - 800 seats, and all from the exchange.

I used to work with a bloke who would often advertise his season ticket around work for games he couldn't/didn't want to attend. It was quite a few games every season. An email would go out to anyone he knew was a blue.

He'd sell his ticket at face value - that being what a general sale ticket would cost if someone was to buy one from the club. This was before the need to have a Cityzens membership before you could even think about buying a ticket.

I once asked him why he was selling for that price given he had a season ticket, so it's not what the ticket actually cost him (based on cost of season ticket/19). His response was that the person buying it would have to pay that much if they got one through official means so what's the issue?

Always bugged me though.......I know he wasn't actually fleecing other blues but no doubt this more than contributed towards paying for his season ticket every year.

Q still moving very slowly, still 6621 in front of me and I was in the waiting room at 9.50. Can you see how many left for Arsenal? Thanks

I've already logged out sorry mate, but it definitely wasn't sold out when I left the website.

I wouldn't worry at all mate, 99.9% of that queue will be for Chelsea

At the same time, we’ve got the situation where the Club have become more helpful. I bought 2 tickets for Chelsea at home and resold them for a bit less than I paid for them cos I knew it would help to fill our coach for the match. I upgraded a ticket from a junior to a senior and realised City charge the price difference based on 1/19th of a season card. They used to charge the full difference to the match day ticket price.
