Seating Plan

Unless things have now changed i think the only way you can view actual seat numbers is when you try to buy a match ticket online on the clubs website , and it gives you the choice of where you want to sit ....... but even then it will only highlight the 'unsold' seat numbers and their locations which are available for purchasing at that time , and NOT the seats already sold.

Your own seat for example , as a seasoncard holder , would appear as 'blacked out' and unavailable to an online ticket buyer ....

Other than that the only stadium plans i've ever seen online feature the block numbers/tiers only.

I was looking at a way to see the remaining seats. In previous seasons im sure you could click on buy seats and it would show you, even if you had a seasonticket. Now it tells you your not eligible.

You could do , in previous seasons .... they must have altered the official website 'technology'.

Seems a bit ridiculous though ..... as a seasoncard holder you might want to take a mate , and go online to see if the seat next to yours is vacant , and if you can't do that it's not very helpful , is it ?

I suppose all you can do in that case is ring them up an' ask what's available!

Was looking at this yesterday. Ticketing on the official website has been redesigned and tickets for league games home and away are not on sale yet.

I'd give it a week then look again or ring supporter services on 0161 444 1894.

Edit: Yes they are on sale from today for those with match ticket priority. I clicked details next to the match and it only gives me 3 options A,B,C for the tier I'm in, but as I was looking to do the same as the OP and get a mate sitting next to me with my SC I can't see any other options until Friday. Pain in the arse that you can't see where they are up to.

Biggest fault with this last season was for cup games. When I had to relocate they didn't release sets not booked by other SC holders in other blocks. Hope they sort that this time round.

I was trying to find what the seat number is at the end of block 309. Like you say though it would be helpful if you could still view it if you need to purchase tickets for others. From what i understand the only way to do that is add them to your friends and family list and then you can look.

Which you would have to do if you were buying a ticket for them anyway so it makes sense.

You can't loook until your friend's customer number is valid- just checked. Can someone with Blue membership priority tickets tell us if a proper seating plan comes up, ta.

Even if you add them to your friends and family list, you still can't do it. I logged into my account to see what seats are left in wembley for my dad and brother to buy as they have season tickets and I don't. I still get the message 'you are not eligible to purchase tickets' even though I'm trying to purchase them for someone who is eligible. (My brother and dad have around 2600 points)

True, although i'm sure people would have other reasons for needing to see seat numbers occasionly. Just as i do now.

-- Tue Jul 26, 2011 2:32 pm --

You would need to log into one of their accounts mate. Its telling you your not eligible because your not a seasonticket holder. I think when it says who is eligible it will go off the person you are logged in as. I'd try logging in as one of them.

that home match ticket priority thing is a joke, I'm a blue member with that add on, thought sweet I can get tickets today, much to my horror you can't choose your own seats! you can only choose 'best available' which is a joke, I don't wanna sit in 101 thanks very much!! kind of defeats the object of priority tickets, I'm gonna have to wait till they're on general sale to get seats where I want. I like the way they don't tell you this before hand!
