But your story seems to be different to be a different situation to other peoples' so it seems that three things have been going on from what I can see.Matty said:warpig said:Got the email just before the last home game so was a bit of notice. The email explained why the seat was being removed and the process for relocation. Have had to wait this long for the normal s/t renewals to end so they knew what seats were available. Like I say is a bit of a ball ache moving from people I've got to know, but I'm happy with the deal I've got and the way it has been organised.
I can't remember, was that before or after the renewal window had opened? That's my only real issue with this, if City knew a seat wouldn't be available it's not really acceptable to sell that seat to someone without letting them know a change/move would be required. I can see the need to wait for the renewal window to close, as it gives you the full set of available seats to pick from, however I think people should have been given the option of relocating early and picking from the seats that weren't part of the renewal window (i.e. non-season ticket seats from last season). If you don't want to do that, and chose to wait, then fair enough, but at least you were given the option.
People have been moved from the front row, the back row and aisle seats. You had plenty of notice if you got an email back in May but some only found out about it on Friday it seems, which I think is very shabby. I agree with Matty that people affected should have been given the option first of going to one of the 5,000 seats not allocated to a season ticket.
I only picked up on the tier 1 relocations pretty late and acknowledged that in my last post. I agree it is shabby, but without knowing the full facts of why it happened I will reserve judgement, as opposed jumping to conclusion.
Relocation was only open exclusively today to those affected by the expansion/changes to the stadium to accommodate aisle widening. Nobody else. You had to ring in or go down in person to the t/o. Can't for the life of me see what is so unfair about that??
