Seeing city players out and about?

I stayed in the Hilton on Deansgate quite a few times when City used to kip there before a game. The last time was before an Arsenal home game, the whole squad was between the lobby and downstairs cafe. Security asked me not to hassle the players or management but they didn’t define “hassle” so I duly requested a selfie with everyone wearing a City training kit. Dzeko was a miserable bastard, so was Kolarov. Mancini was totally silent but obliged.

A couple of years ago I ended up in Wing’s and Joe Hart had booked the place out for his birthday. Most of the squad was there, including some players who had left at that point - including Milner, Richards, Lescott and others. He even invited that Shaz who used to do the photography, and Ched Evans who had just won his appeal. I was in there the night Big Sam got stung, and I also had the immense pleasure of taking a piss next to Roy Hodgson on another occasion.

On one occasion I saw a few players who claimed not to drink, drinking in Neighbourhood. Also saw Navas in there a few times.

Sat next to Patrick Viera on a flight from JFK to Manchester when he was manager at NYC FC, a few hours later he was pictured in the MEN watching a training session with Pep.

When you know where to look for them, they’re easy to find.

Stopped at The Mere last Friday ahead of the game against Burnley. Popped down for breakfast on Saturday morning and found myself seated next to Peter Crouch. Even though he ate enough to feed a family of five.......he was still as thin as a rake when he left the table!!

I believe he's being released by Stoke, snap him up, wish we'd bought him years ago.His new book is great, read the chapter on headers, even now with him we could mix it up rather the the pass, pass , pass without end result rubbish on Tuesday.

I met Buzzer and Skip outside the players entrance at West Brom a few seasons ago, Buzzer saw I had Colin Bell on the back of my shirt and said... “I carried him for his whole career”
Ha ha ... Brilliant.. Both true gentlemen and loved having pics with us oldies :-)?

I met Buzzer at the 2016 league cup final. A proper gent as a you say. A couple of weeks back i was waiting outside the main entrance after a game for some family who had for a treat been in the tunnel club. Buzzer and Skip came out and must have spent 20mins having photos with fans and chatting and signing programmes etc. They were totally brilliant. While they were doing all this Arteta came out and completely blanked the requests for an autograph or picture walking straight by. What a contrast.

Indeed mate, how times have changed, Buzzer, Skip and The King are all such fantastic ambassadors for our club, Arteta sounds like he needs to pull his head out of his Arse and learn from the masters ..

Met Mancini after we arrived back from The game at the Bernabau in 2012.He got in the lift with us to the car park and although he was clearly raging from the result he obliged with a photo of him and my lad.

Joe Hart was in the café I had a meeting at this morning and saw Mahrez outside the indian take-away in the village last week.

Walker and Fernandinho at the circus at the Trafford centre today with their families, didn’t stop loads getting selfies with them at the interval though, I always think it’s a bit out of order when they are with their families tbf.
