been told by a rag today that for the semi final at eastlands he is only paying £25 for a ticket ? anyone know if this is true ? i could go on their site to find out but it would make me sick

No chance we are hardly gonna make it cheaper for them than our own fans.We should actually sting them for once because they have a stand to themselves.

They'd only triple the price of the second leg. They are desperate. They have gone past, through and over the Mr. Micawber phase of financial meltdown. When they go, Nick Leeson and Barings will look like the change from a pastie and a coffee!

Ha.Yeah but because we are in the same stand as them they can't.Otherwise they would probably try and charge us at least double,as they have a stand to themselves though we could charge them whatever we want.

Mr Micawber is fully wadded compared to our men in Trafford. The reports of the debt run up by the Glazers skip over the additional debt they are incurring on PIK notes, this is an extra 'higher risk' debt that they couldn't fund with the initial borrowings. They essentially borrowed an extra £180m on IOUs. They have to be repaid in 2014or15 (not sure which) and seem to have a compound interest rate of 14-15% !! If you do the math by the time these notes are due they could be in the red (and we're not talking scabby kit colours here) to the tune of well over £1b of the dear old Queens pounds. mkes you want to weep (laughing that is). tick tock, times nearly up taggart.
