I wish the club would confirm whether or not they will be leaving at the end of the season, so that they can get the send off they deserve as two of the most important players in our modern history. Gutted that our final home game is midweek though, as not many will hang around for a lap of honour.

Cant be there today, but agree. Regardless of the club not announcing anything. Just give these 2 legends a massive send off today. They have brought nothing but quality to our club and trophies to boot

Think it's almost a certainty. Should give them both a huge send off. Been massive!

Typical City arse about and nothing gets sorted. I suppose Toure could have at least a one year deal if he is willing to compromise but his knob of an agent won't, so that is still ongoing I guess. Zabba like likely to leave but I hope he gets another year too.

Would like to see Toure next season if he can drop the idiot agent and keep up with Peps plan.
Gutted Zabaleta is leaving, he would be a perfect mentor for the players coming through.

Should we win today and results go our way, we could possibly make an educated guess from the team selection on Tuesday night / substitutions. If Yaya and Zab start then get subbed individually to mil the crowd, that's a pretty damn clear sign.

To be fair to the club Ric I think that the most important thing is for us to not miss out on CL qualification. Ideally we would have been secured in third by now and then I believe announcements would have been confirmed. In a way they are caught between a rock and a hard place. Tell the world that the seven are not being offered a contract then the risk is that the players would lose a little edge by thinking, "why get injured when I won't be here next season?" We would all love to believe that wouldn't happen, but in reality there is only Rugby League where players know months ahead that they are moving yet still perform at the same level. Against Leicester we need to be at full tilt and I think Pep wants to ensure that they are all hungry. Having said that, I am sure that behind doors they may know the writing is on the wall if not the decision already. Team selection today will be mighty interesting to me. I have the feeling that most, if not all of the out of contract players will be going. He knows we need a big rebuild and in the past that has been hard due to the level of the contracts making it impossible to move players on. I think we should all give them a good send off today anyway especially if we can get the very important win.

The club has to be in based on professional rather than emotional grounds, on this occasion at least I think the club has got it right, a lot still to play for
