Quotes from a guardian report:

Senior figures at City were last night privately suggesting that Tévez’s statement, released just after 8.20pm, was merely an attempt by the player’s representative, Kia Joorabchian, to drive a wedge between the club’s Abu Dhabi owners and chief executive Cook and football administrator Marwood.

So is he trying to fuck up our club or is he just after more money??

probably more money he wouldnt give a shit about the club hes a merc cnut who doesnt know the meaning of gratitude or loyalty

Cook is an easy target. Bit of a cheap shot from Kia IMO. All this time and all we've ever heard from Carlos is family, Mancini, family, Mancini. Now we are expected to believe it's not Mancini, and it's not his family - it's Garry Cook. Laughable.

he wants more power and money IMO, its time to cut the cord. I've grown sick and tired of his toys out the pram attitude its not as if this is the first time, he believe's he's bigger than the club. He should be banished from the club, sold and replaced ASAP. I've heard we're deep in negotiations with Torres, even before this came out, get him in and get rid of Ade and replace him with Dzeko.

Marwood, and particularly Cook, are much maligned figures in the media. Perhaps it was thought that by suggesting they are the reason for his desire to leave that he would be treated with more sympathy in the press.

If Garry Cook left, would anyone be sad?

Some blues have indicated it might be a silver lining.

Gary Cook has been a complete embarrassing disaster. Continually putting his big feet in his mouth, compromising our progress with his silly outbursts.
I've never met Cook - but the crap that always surrounds him had me surprised he held on to his job last season.

However, as for Tevez - get rid ASAP together with Adebyor.

I have suddenly sensed recently that the 'team' play better without them...........

I doubt we have had any negotiating regards to Torres.
I think we have dzeko in the bag, but although he looks quality, he is unproven in the prem.

By not slagging the manager, fans or owner, tevez is leaving the door open to a return.

It's shrek part 2.

Wasn't his relationship with slur Alex broken beyond repair...
