Agree with that statement. Think he might even go in January. He put in a transfer request in the summer and hasn’t reached last season’s form. Being benched for the Chelsea match was quite the surprise. I think he is pushing for a move behind the scenes and he’ll get it in January for £50m which I feel is more than fair especially for Southampton given the current situation. If that’s the case, would prefer we pay that and get him than buy Inigo Martinez for £26m.
