I would love it if we did that but I think he wants to go back to Independiente. Hopefully he extends beyond next season though, he's too good to let go that soon.
A lot on here weren’t saying that too long ago. The guy is irreplaceable

Do you think he could be top goalscorer this season? If he hadn't picked up that injury around Christmas last year I think he would have won it. It would be great to see him beat Salah and Aubameyang but it will be tough.
Is that Aubameyang stat even possible
It would definitely be a shame if he didnt have a 30+ league goal season before he leaves given the player he is and the team he is in. No striker in history has ever had so much quality providing goals - David Silva, KDB, Sterling, Mahrez and Bernardo. It's insane and his injury issues have cleared up so if that conti ues he will get enough chances.

The only thing that might stop him doing it is being rotated with Jesus.
I was one. That was down to application though and not ability.
He went through a period where Jesus was starting more games. Pep wasnt getting the results out of him.
If anything its testament to both player and manager that we are now back here because Sergio has clearly always had unbelievable amounts of talent. Pound for pound, hes one of the greatest ever strikers.
