Can't believe some of the comments here.

He's out of form in front of goal, but he put in one hell of a shift today, and one of the reason Sané and Sterling got so many chances was because he was pulling the spurs defence all over the place and they were running into the gaps left behind.

He came deep, ran between the lines of defence and midfield, bombed down the channels, all he's missing is a bit of form in front of goal and I think we can put that down to the fact he's trying to do something new, a new and unfamiliar role.

I think Pep will be very happy with the him today, and will consider our attack pretty much sorted with Sané, Sterling, Sergio and Jesus.

In a way I'm not overly surprised because (and I don't want this to sound condescending) but he usually gets loads of praise when he scores goals but plays shit as well.

I honestly believe we need to replace him. He's lost his cutting edge.

We would be winning these games at a canter with a top striker. Kun was a top striker but very sadly not anymore

He had run a lot today but all his advantage (technic, strength and pace) he had over defenders is gone. He's average striker at best now.

I can't remember him having a shot today(bar that one he took from out wide) but I the more I think back to the game the more I remember how hard he was working closing down from the front he looked genuinely knackered towards the end of that game, it didn't go unnoticed from me.

How fickle are people btw? A few games without scoring and he's suddenly not a top striker anymore? ... Costa is? I wonder what they were saying for the last couple of seasons about him. He will get his scoring boots back in no time he's got 16 goals already this season is it?

He had a shot first half when he ran across to the left and shot low at the near post.

Put in a huge effort but it's obvious injuries have taken that electric burst of pace he had,which was vital to his game. Could still do a job if the team was set up solely for him(a bit like Ronaldo now)but that's not going to happen. 29 this summer,might be time to call it.
