Sergio Aguero - 2016/17 performances

Time for Sergio to come back in the team now I think.

Sterling deserves a rest, he's played the last 13 games in a row - keep Sané in because he's flying high on confidence and we want to solidify that, Jesus on the left, Sergio up the middle.

The message has been delivered, he's not untouchable, now lets see the reaction. I'm expecting a response.

What would you expect them to say? Regardless of what he's done for us previously he clearly doesn't fit anymore and I'd be amazed if he's still here next season. We need someone who is fast and strong and who can pick up the ball deep and do something with it. He hasn't been doing that for a good while now.

Agree. It seems Jesus is more hyped by the media already than Sergio's ever been. Despite his record for us, QPR, goals per minute etc etc. He must wonder what's going on.

I agree.

The diversity we have in those front 3, the pace, the electricity, the willingness to fight and run back. It's all the things I expected from a Pep team. We've had a taster since those last 10 minutes against Spurs.

He should have replaced Sterling on 60 at the latest, as we were getting nowhere and the inevitable happened, which me and all around me were expecting.It's this sort of thing that will piss him off as well as not being in the starting line up.
The thing that worries me is Sterling and Gabriel are getting in goal scoring positions whereas Sergio is not. He seems to be everywhere except in the box.

Pep wants him all over the place and sergio is not used to that as he wants to be where he can score

A little like Sanchez yesterday, Sergio has often been anywhere but the box. I think it was Anfield when he didn't have a single one. He's looking for the football. It's what happens when he gets it that is causing Pep an issue.

There is so much pace in this team now, De Bruyne jokingly said the midfield couldn't keep up with them, I think he meant it.

We are going to have to find a way to play around Sergio and I have to be honest here, I just don't think Pep wants to.

He seems torn between the old style and the new one,he can't do anything from the bench anyway,his comment about learning from what gabby does says to me he is trying to learn,he will come good i'm certain about that
