Sergio Aguero - 2016/17 performances

Aguero should be banned, but it's hard to respect the FA's decision as their judgements aren't very consistent and appear to be a case of 'pick and choose' based on trial by media. At the end of the day, Aguero's an idiot for putting himself in this position.

I am not sure how bad his calf injury that keeps him out of Argentina's upcoming games is but given his history of recovery it could mean he is unavailable for the derby in any case.

As for the so called elbow it get down to intent and whether that constitutes a ban as the actual amount of contact from the hand of Kun wasn't what any objective observer would call more than minimal.

Probably gets down to trial by media as the evidence is pretty clear that Mariner saw the incident and decided not to even book Kun for a yellow which in itself surprised me.

My own view it was worthy of a yellow and no more and I would say the same even if it was scrub brush from Manure who did likewise.

The vile piece of shit rag-loving scum bastard waste of a human that is Phil Cadden, editor of the Sun, is trying speak for the FA.
"Told Andre Marriner confirmed in ref report he missed Sergio Aguero elbow on Winston Reid. FA charge and likely three-match ban to follow."

Who the fuck is he to say what's going to follow. The media are using their reach in a very clever manner and are trying to influence the FA via the power of suggestion.

They are so afraid of us and it's hilarious. You see incidents between players all the time, and never are they highlighted as much as this.
I wonder if we as City fans could have let it die down by ignoring the controversy. The more we discuss it, the more publicity it gets and this whole fiasco stays relevant.

Can I ask, ummm, 3 games my word.

How is that offence (more like a whiff, a half backhanded annoyed swat) worthy of missing out on 3 games.

Is this standard fair? If it is, something needs to be looked at. I still think yellow card and no ban is correct decision buy somehow he should end up serving no more than one match for that (of course has to be derby, Mou pinching himself)

So Mariner " missed" the incident!!! What a fucking surprise!!! I hope we can get the footage of him looking directly at the incident posted and reposted/retweeted on as many platforms as possible.
So, where exactly was he looking, if not where the ball was?

As for ignoring and not discussing it in the hope it goes away, fat chance! Thank Sky and the Red Cartel in the media/ ex-refs etc who jumped on this and turned it into Godzilla, rampaging thru Fleet Street holding a screen with the incident playing on loop!
They're so shit scared of Aguero, I hope we smash them now, with a Nacho hat-trick!

No he isn't. His playing style gets mentioned but the dirty bastards elbowing is all part of his game so therefore its ok. Time and time again them rag Shiites get away with every offense in the book. The trouble with Kun and Merlin is that they get kicked for pillar to post and yet get no protection.

think we all know a ban is coming was silly of kun, rag papers all over this like a rash and wont let it drop trial by media. its nailed on 3 match ban sadly. however much rag press fuck me off, it was stupid of kun the intent was there even if he didnt properly connect. and im betting the derby elbows with get away with his usual antics, ****

I think we can all see how this season is going to go from the first three league games , the FA/ the premier league / the newspapers/and the TV stations all want the scum to win it this year ,and they cannot have us playing football like we did in the first half . We are going to get some bad decisions this year they are going to do anything to stop us this season . I bet clattenberg has already been given the nod for the derby .
