Wouldn't be arsed if the scum were treated the same but we all know there not.
Really fed up of the media in this country, he has been tried by them and we all know the outcome.

Is intent enough to be punished? Serious question, and if so is intent only applicable to violent conduct, not any other offence on the pitch?
Obviously intent is very hard to prove because it questions what was in someone's mind, he intended to fend the guy off as he'd just been whacked himself, sure, but it looks like he stops the arm from actually following through, hence just the slap in the throat not an 'elbow' to the jaw, so did he then intend not hurt?
I think he'll get banned, but only because the media have already tried and judged.
