Whatever floats your boat, I guess!
Hah :) seriously jim what would float my boat would be not selling our most iconic and prolific player because he's had a few injuries.
Think some that suggested that are rags but some definitely aren't. Fucking crazy.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Nervous on this injury. Ozil had a muscle injury and felt it in the 2nd minute, very similar cases since Aguero felt muscle pain as well. Hopefully its just 1-2 games. We have really important games after Fulham coming up.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

We should probably sell silva too, with all those daft quick turns and spins he does he's bound to pull a hammy soon as well :( get rid whilst we'll still get a good few million for him

Coming to think of it yaya always looks injured and he ain't getting any younger, he'd be off too if it were down to me

;)

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

say goodbye to premier league. so many injuries to key players throughout the season, many personal errors cost the points and the list goes on..

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Cousillas post-match press conference covers Aguero at the end. It's the Assistant boss on defeat video on www.mcfc.co.uk if you haven't seen it yet. He says it was precautionary as he felt some pain in the muscle, and he will have tests today

Both are rarely injured though and if they are it is usually the odd game. Now every game Aguero plays i am on pins waiting for him to pull up signalling to the bench. Some players are just injury prone, look at Anderton at Spurs.

Aguero is very strong. His lower body is very powerful, and I bet some of the ligament damage he took last season would have caused a total rupture in other players. If he gets a clear Summer and a full pre-season he will benefit. He didn't have that this Summer, and he probably wont this Summer either

His injury record is now ridiculous,he just cannot seem to play anymore than 4 or 5 games before he is out another 4-6 weeks. It cannot go on.If a club are prepared to throw us 35-40 million for him i think we should snap their hand off.

Yes...i know a FIT Aguero is world class, the problem is he is never fucking fit!

Is it really weird week already.. fuckinell it comes round quick..

Stop getting hysterical and at 57 years of age my memory is fine and i KNOW when fit he is a world class player,i also don't need to get a grip of anything thanks. The problem is his injuries are becoming more prevelant, play 3-4 games then miss 6-8 injured. No team can afford that for too long.

Nobody in their right mind would sell a fit and hardy Aguero, but a fragile one may be another matter.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

We all know he is world class but its no good if you are always injured. Its hard to build momentum with him being in and out so often I would take £50 million for him if anyone offered but not a penny less.

All the "he has done this and done that" brigade are clueless the same fans that thought we were doing well under Stuart Pearce no doubt.

We must have all thought not again last night and there does reach a point where its hard to sustain all his injuries probably not quite there yet but I don't think we are far off. Its annoying that he decided to play for Argentina as well because I'm sure he has been back fully fit from the original injury.

Sorry, but you are coming across as a right Mary-Ann.

You think any of us fall for this rags. You just concentrate on your own "team"

It is a controversial viewpoint granted and will split opinion but i am sure some inside the club have mooted the point along with fans on here. You disagreeing with something i raised doesn't make me come across as anything,in fact the hysterical over reaction to the idea makes others come across as more a ''Mary Anne'' than myself.

-- Thu Mar 13, 2014 7:31 pm --

Sorry to disappoint you Marvin but i have supported my club since 1968 and am a season ticket holder in the south stand.I have seen players come and go but one thing never changes and that is doing what is best for the club.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Everyone as the right to express there view so for me

Aguero is the leading league goal scorer and he's injury prone and we have a CF who is always fit and needs 5 chances to hit the target.

So for me a unfit Aguero is a player i would keep at all costs.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

To be honest, what PaulChapo has said did cross my mind recently.
The issue is that to move forward he would need to be replaced, & there's very few in the world that match his talents.

This is a valid point. If we get 15-20 games a season out of him at the top of his game and have a good alternative/partner to carry on when he is injured i agree.

This to me is the problem, we over rely on Aguero as Dzeko is not good enough and Negredo is not as consistent as we want this can be down to carrying a injury and Jovetic is either never fit or he thinks he his not fit.
