Sergio - hamstring again? Update (good news) P18

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Just a theory, but is it any coincidence that both Aguero and Jovetic had knee and calf injuries which meant that they did not have a proper pre-season and have suffered injuries throughout this season? He's no more prone to injury that any other person who hasn't done the preparation the body requires to deal with the stresses of the game. It's just one niggling muscle injury after another, and that's not because he's injury prone, but because he wasn't able to put in the pre-season work

Vincent Kompany was also in a similar position as he went into pre-season nursing a calf injury.

If you don't get the base fitness work done, your body will breakdown. Once the season starts, it must be difficult to catch up as it's one game after another and if you do the stamina and strength training in midweek you wont be at your best at the weekend.

We should probably sell silva too, with all those daft quick turns and spins he does he's bound to pull a hammy soon as well :( get rid whilst we'll still get a good few million for him

Coming to think of it yaya always looks injured and he ain't getting any younger, he'd be off too if it were down to me

;)

and fuck Hart off while we are at it, all that diving about, he is bound to hurt himself; also that Zabaleta is always tacking people too hard, going to do himself a mischief, fuck him off; and oh yeah 3 months ago people in this forum were saying fuck Vinnie off for being made of glass. Fucking joke of a thread

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Pretty obvious who is posting

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

I'd give him a free transfer to get him off the wage bill, no club is going to pay for such a sicknote.

Least we can do for the QPR title winning goal is let him go for nowt.

Cheers Sergio for all you've done, not good enough for us anymore.

so says the bloke who posted the same thing about 150 times across numerous threads last Sunday evening and night (and I think into the early part of this week too if I am not mistaken)

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

If we don't beat United and Arsenal then we have no chance of the Premier League. On that basis alone, I would tell both Aguero and our self justifying medical staff that if he can stand up he plays, Shit Bust!

I can't be the only one on here that feels our medical teams create their own work. Just when was the last time a player came back earlier than expected.

In short, too much molly-coddling going on and far too little balls been displayed.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Sergio won't be risked this time round as he will want to be fully fit for world cup. It takes as long as it takes to get him 100%.

It's time Dzeko and Negredo stepped up and put their dismal runs behind them.

Personally i don't think we will see Sergio again this season.

Sergio's exploits for Argentina are of no concern to any City fan. In fact if he goes to Brazil he'll come back late and more than likely injured.

We pay his wages so the idea we let him have 2 months sat on his arse preparing for his national side's World Cup is lunacy.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

I'll sell him and use the money to buy soldado and welbeck !

All you morons saying sell him, have you ever paused for a second and asked who would replace him when his gone ????

Actually how many top strikers do you think would be available this summer ?????

Its easy to say sell now you all would be the same clowns to slate the club next 3 to 4 years when he wins the ballon d'or at some other club.

Get well soon Kun !!
Your always in my prayers.

Of course we'll see him again! There's a month from the end of the season to the world cup, and this injury is just a two week thing, possibly back for Arsenal, if not then Liverpool.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

our medical team is an absolute joke 3 re occurring soft tissue injuries for our number one striker. Can anyone at the club explain that?? Poor treatment/coming back too early or both. After we won the league we changed our medical team and things have never been the same since. Injuries and poor prioritisation by Pellegrini by running players into the ground trying t win the league cup and everything else will cost us the league.
