Highly rated Dutch Striker Sergio Dijk is a prospect that many British Clubs are wanting to snap up.

I see members of the Queensland Roar staff on a day to day basis and word has it that Manchester City scouts have been tracking Van Dijk, along with River Plate and Cardiff.

A sleeper hit for under a million pounds, a guaranteed goal scorer when placed in a 1 on 1 position, feed Dijk and he will score!

What do you guys think for under 1 million pounds?

Sergio Van Dijk is a finisher, nothing more. One of those players a team like us could bring on in the 90th minute for that final finish. Van Dijk is overlooked in the A-League as compared to overseas, he has mediocrity all around him. Think of Van Dijk like Michael Owen, Yakubu, or even Mark Viduka; find the ball at his feet, find him in the box, and he will score.

With our players like Ireland, Robinho, Barry and possibly even Ribery if we sign him, that won't be a problem.

A cheap buy to knack us a few last minute goals.
