Sergio's Injury

Get will soon Sergio.

It will be interesting to see what will Pellegrini do ?

Stick with the 4-4-2 or switch it to 4-2-3-1 ?

Pelligrini has been saying this week he wants us playing the same way whatever the personnel so I would expect 4222 with Jovetic filling in for Aguero if fit. If not then Nasri which would look like 451 on paper but would play more like 4222.

A couple of weeks out will see him have a proper rest, up to the rest of the team to continue to step up to the plate and show the full value of having 4 strikers. If we can keep the momentum going by the time he comes back should be like having a new player raring to go for the long run in. (could be a blessing in disguise)

Agree with this....I expect to see a fresh David Silva rip up trees from now into the new year, and then a refreshed Aguero take up this mantle upon his return.

A couple of points :- At the moment all our long term injuries are to calf muscles, a bit odd to have so many. Are we doing something wrong, maybe in training ? Dont see other clubs all getting this type of injury & it never seems like the 1/2 week recovery time either.

Of course we & any other serious club would miss Kun. However just remember we turned over the best club side ever in the Universe last Tuesday at home & scored 3 goals, without KA. Whatever, this team has goals in it.

We can bring something else to the team in his absence

The games where we miss him will be Liverpool.

Time to turn a negative into a positive and we know now we can win the title so don't dwell too much on this

Its a blow.

Negredo with silva or nasri just behind for me.

We have the squad to deal with this especially if jovetic is fit

Love to see Nasri play as a number 10 behind Negredo. He was outstanding there today for the short time he played there

We could push Yaya further up and play Rodwell next to Fernandhino or god forbid Garcia

Silva Nasri
Yaya

Negredo

Our only calf muscle injuries are to Kompany, Nastasic and now Aguero. You don't see other clubs getting them because you don't take notice of other clubs injuries, why would you? apart from one or two high profile injuries. A quick glance on Physioroom http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_ ... _table.php shows a few calf injuries at different clubs. Also quite a few clubs with more injuries than us.

Tbh, out of all our top players, he is the one we can do without

Really?
Could we have done without his 19 goals as well?
I fail to see how your best striker is the most expendable personally.

Kun is irreplaceable but we haven't got a great squad for nothing. How many did we score agains the league leaders AFTER Kun went off?!! Having said that, please God, let it be a minor injury......
