Serie A Thread - 2023/24

Ref has lost the plot in the Torino v Fiorentina game.

Didn’t call an obvious foul and gives the player who was fouled a second yellow because of dissent. Then decides to book Arthur (the offender) after sending off the Torino player. Thereby acknowledging that he did foul the sent off player.

Absolute pelican of a ref.

I remember you mentioning possible good fortunes a bit ago. You jinxed them
Palermo don’t need much assistance in that regard…
They travel to bottom-placed Lecco (lost to them at home in October) and then host Venezia. Leaders Parma also have to travel to Sicily in the last 10 games. Finished 9th last season, so a top-five finish would still be solid progress.

Agree with your last statement. Progress is quite important. Better that than stagnation or regression.

Stormer of a game re Fiorentina v Roma. Roma rescue a draw at the death. Ends 2-2. The equalising goal was worth the ticket for those that saw it live. Good game. Roma, much more interesting to watch since the moaning one left.

Fiorentina will be gutted not to have won that.
