Serious assault on an elderly Blue

Dirty shithouse Yorkshire inbreds. Sounded like a sucker punch as well, let's hope its jailtime for the coward.

I've said this before and I will say it again, the media are also responsible for violence towards our fans with their anti city rhetoric. They are stirring up hatred towards the club, ofcourse it may have happened regardless as Leeds fans are scumbags.

I saw it all happen. Tried to step in but all happened too quickly.

There was one lad in particular who took a really cheap shot and knocked the old man out. I chased him down the road, got a photo of him and roughed him up before the police came and arrested him.

Absolutely top work M33, MOTM yesterday for me.

Was this you on the pitch midweek trying to solve another crime?

I just missed seeing it before you deleted it.
I wanted to see the little shit.
I saw it last night and can’t un-see it now, think yourself lucky. Keith Lemon would be turning in his grave at the dreadful clobber on display.

Ah no, not Lemon, the other fella from Leeds from the seventies, I meant. Definitely easy to spot these inbreds.

It looked very bad. He smashed the bus windscreen with his head and as he was completely dazed this lad runs up and gives him the slyest dig ever to knock him out.

I think it was 5 on 1. Could have been 6. The shithouse bottled it when I caught him. I’ll share his picture and you’ll all see what a scruffy **** he is.
We heard a thud, which we’d thought was someone banging on a police van parked by the side of the road. I’m guessing that may have been someone bouncing off a bus? Then a load of Police ran past us and dived on some bloke in a patterned hoodie (I think it had streaks of pink in it), in the middle of the Ashton New Road heading into town. Was it him?

Shortly after the match Vs Leeds, after a short exchange with opposition supporters, an older- I’m guessing 62-70 year old - shirt wearing City supporter was attacked by supporters of Leeds United after today’s match.
It happened virtually outside the stadium, close to the to the south stand, on Ashton New Rd.
Whilst not in possession of all the facts, what I saw with my own eyes was said older City supporter get hit by a Leeds supporter from behind. The Blue cracked his head against a bus on his way down and his head also smacked the tarmac on the road.
The ambulance that had obviously picked the guy up went past us further down ANR.
Thoughts are with the assaulted Blue. Any news appreciated.
Hope the guy is ok. Leeds fans - still living in the 70s. I'm 62 myself so well remember the 70s and the hatred between us and Leeds (the rags and Leeds also had a parallel hatred of each other). Although I quite enjoy the raucous atmosphere generated by some opposition clubs' fans because it improves the atmosphere amongst our fans as we drown them out, this Leeds lunatic could have done permanent (or worse) damage to our fan who was assaulted. Again, if you're reading this fellow blue, I hope you're ok.

I saw what happened yesterday usual gobshites mouthing off the blue gets punched into the bus windscreen which cracks then again where he ended up on the floor under the bus then the unbelievable argument I had with the copper (red patches on his shoulder) whatever that means who arrives blaming the city fan for instigating the trouble and was trying to take the blue away to have a word as he’d been watching it but my argument was he only stepped in after the lad had been seriously injured. Think the blue was on his own there were 2 or 3 of us stayed with him and I heard someone say a doc had checked him over on the road. 1 or 2 were asking for the coppers number I believe he was an inspector.

My dad was at that game too, Iv always hated them, during the 80's I'd say our fans hatred of them was almost on par with the rags when we were in the old second division, horrible cunts.
It was the same in the late 60s. You had to have your wits about you on the way back to the coaches at Elland Road, as they lay in wait for you.
In those days, we were in the open end (now their "Kop"), and they were in the notorious "Scratching Shed" end, but the coaches were parked up the road from there, so you had to pass it, hence my initial comment.
I was once getting on a coach in the Kippax car park. when a Leeds fan tried to nick my scarf - a popular pastime in those days. Unfortunately (for him) I was half way up the stairs, and my kick out caught him straight in the face! He went down and a few blues, who had seen it, then gave him a good hiding.
That was 50 odd years ago, and they're still at it today.
I've hated the bastards ever since.

The police will only arrest someone if they have to. It’s paperwork etc. Having just left the Courts as a professional, cases have to be watertight. He could plead not guilty and then sue for wrongful arrest if found so. It can be an absolute minefield.

Yep. Ugly little scrote.

At least he received a few digs before spending the night in a cell!

What is the point of having a segregated compound for away fans if you let them out the same time as the home fans. We frequently get kept in at Old Trafford and other places. Games against LFC, Leeds, and United are high risk matches so their fans must be kept back. We have already seen attacks on this season on our fans including elderly people and children. What the fuck are the police doing? Let's be honest most fans are fine but there are too many scumbags at United, LFC, Leeds, and these days Villa.

Well if he doesn’t go down I’ll be spreading his face around social media so everyone will know what a little dick he is.

there was one bald headed not right stood in the middle of road near the south stand after the game shouting to anybody who was arsed, "wank club", honestly who lets these day releasers out, they sing for 15 minutes, forget they played in front of a ground that had sections closed not long ago cos no fucker turned up, and then come and try and lord it like we give a fuck, seriously absolute whoppers each and every last one of them.
